Established in 2006 by licensed Cosmetologist and custom-Wigmaker Florence Faye, Empress Of Hair, first specializing in natural hair care, has been servicing the Harlem community for over a decade. We are FAMILY-OWNED and ran and thanks to a loyal local following, are garnering global recognition through traveler recommendations and social media. Since the COVID-19 pandemic and its effect on small enterprises, we have restructured our business model and in addition to being your friendly neighborhood salon, have branched into retail, now offering beauty supplies online and on-site as well as Image Concierge services.
